His voluminous output has been heralded by Acoustic Guitar Magazine, and his songs have been collected and presented by such as The Smithsonian Institute. Millard T. Asher is not one human being but four: David and Marguerite Millard, Mark Takeuchi and Brian Asher. David, Marguerite and Mark are members of the popular Claremont-based group Squeakin’ Wheels. Three years ago they met San Pedro Cellist Brian Asher who, although classically trained, also played jazz and blues.
