Descanso Gardens offers Father's Day fun

Spend some quality time with Dad this Father’s Day (Sunday, June 19). Descanso Gardens will be dishing up music, food and fun sure to please the Big Guy.

At 1 p.m., the retro-cool Jet Set Quartet will perform Atomic Age faves in the shade of the Descanso oaks. The concert is free with Gardens admission: $8 adults, $6 senior/students, $3 children 5-12, children 4 and younger free. Chow down on “man food” at a barbecue prepared by Patina Restaurant Group. Food will be available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A limited number of chairs and tables will be available – bring your own blanket or lawn chair to relax on. (No outside picnics allowed.)
