Sought after singer/songwriter, rocker and collaborator Emily Zuzik, who “mixes the urgent intensity of Ani DiFranco and Tori Amos with the easy cool of Kim Gordon,” (Performing Songwriter Magazine) will sing the theme song for the NBC Show "Love Bites," premiering tonight 10p/9c.
"Love Bites" is an hour-long romantic comedy anthology series featuring three loosely connected modern stories of love, sex, marriage and dating. Each of the multiple vignettes will involve an array of talented guest stars every week, and will illuminate the theme of love with a fresh, irreverent spin. Zuzik, who covers The Pretenders "Message of Love" for the show, also recently collaborated with Moby on the song "The Low Hum" on his recently released record Destroyed.
And on June 25th, Zuzik will release her seventh studio album, The Wild Joys of Living.
"These songs are part of a collection of work that I am very proud of and feel needed to come out,” said Zuzik. “I have a lot of material, and I’m tired of keeping it in notebooks or on demos on my laptop. It was time for these songs to take flight.”
Zuzik will celebrate the release of The Wild Joys of Living on June 25th at the Living Room, where the show will be recorded live for XM Radio's From the Living Room to The Loft!
