Found Animals adopt-a-thon June 18 in LA County

Found Animals Foundation will host a one-day Adopt-A-Thon that will take place simultaneously at 16 Los Angeles animal care centers. The event will offer significantly reduced adoption fees on all kittens, cats, puppies, dogs, and other available pets. Also, unveiling is the "2 For You" feline promotion - where those adopting two cats together will pay only one adoption fee, Found Animals Foundation will cover the second!

WHEN: Saturday, June 18 from 10:00am to 5:00pm

WHERE: 16 Los Angeles-area animal care centers, including facilities operated by the city of Los Angeles Animal Care Centers (LAAS), the county of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC), Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA), and Burbank Animal Shelter.

WHO: Los Angeles-based nonprofit group, Found Animals Foundation, dedicated to animal welfare issues and led by business and medical professionals.

WHY: The event aims to promote city and countywide adoptions of kittens, cats, dogs, and other companion animals, to raise awareness of the plight of cats in animal care facilities heightened during kitten season, and to encourage the spay/neutering of all pets. The goal is to adopt 500 animals through the one-day event.
