I've decided to accept an offer from the Golden Spur to come back there the end of this month - June 24th and 25th. The deal is the same - $10 cover charge...no minimum...which seemed to work out well the last time. You need not have dinner there - though the food is excellent, and I got nothing but compliments the last time I was there. With the help of Doug Salvinski, any problems we had with over-booking (not our fault) is fixed, and there will be much less confusion.
I am planning to get there early before the show to spend more time just chatting with you all. You are my source of strength to carry on...and it is a great joy to be among my old (and some, new) friends. My schedule looks as though this might be my last performance out there this year - it's not a certainty - things have a way of changing...but just in case...I hope to see you there.
