Every year since I moved back here to NY, I have tried to be out there with my family and friends in CA for the holidays...in particular New Year's Eve. With the economy in such bad shape, and old trends in the decline, that will not happen this year. I know - that you know - how much it means to me to spend that time with all my old friends (and some new) just having a fun time and reminiscing about the "old days". I miss those times, and have enjoyed (needed, actually) getting together - even if it was only a few times each year. So, when I could not arrange for my annual New Year's Eve show...I was, to quote a phrase that really dates me, bummed out. But with the tenacity of a pit bulldog...and his desire to keep all of us coming together, as we have over all these years, my good friend, Doug Salvinski, has arranged for me to play at the Golden Spur one more time this year. So, I hope if you have the time, I will see you there. As always, stay well, happy and safe...
