JAN is the latest project from Kim Talon, one-half of the art-rock duo Eagle and Talon. Having released her self-titled debut album last year via Enclaves Music, JAN has received praise from VICE’s Noisey, BUST, PAPER, Under The Radar, and more. Now, she’s gearing up for a string of dates on the West coast, where fans will have a chance to catch her electric, riot grrrl-infused live show this spring.
Produced by John Goodmanson (Blonde Redhead, The Gossip, Sleater-Kinney), JANpacks a mean punch with grungy, fuzzy guitars and sweet yet commanding vocals. For a taste of JAN’s hard-hitting sound, you can check out her video for album track “Work For The City” HERE.
Having previously collaborated with Reggie Watts and toured with artists like Sia and Obi Best, Kim’s new girl group is rounded out by Melinda Parks (Har Mar Superstar) and Lia Braswell (Le Butcherettes.)
