Marching Band ending residency at Spaceland

The Swedish-based indie pop rock duo, Marching Band, are wrapping their month-long residency at the influential Los Angeles music venue Spaceland with two more shows on Monday, November 17th and Monday, November 24th. Prior to their last show, the band will take the stage at the Hollywood Music Awards on Thursday, November 20th where they have been recognized this year with a nomination for “Best Original Song – Film” for their single “Trust Your Stomach,” which appears on the soundtrack for the Sony Pictures Film Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. The band, featuring the eclectic musical talents of Erik Sunbring and Jacob Lind, released its debut album Spark Large through U & L Records on August 5, 2008.

With reviews in Rolling Stone’s “Hype Monitor,” Pitchfork, Saturday Night Magazine, and Under the Radar, and recent in studio appearances on “Morning Becomes Eclectic” with Nic Harcourt and Indie 103.1’s “Dead Air,” the melodic sound of Marching Band is making a mark on the Los Angeles music scene as it has overseas with millions of fans world-wide.
