Alexisonfire debuts video game and fan contest

ALEXISONFIRE will debut a new retro-style video game player today titled “Young Cardinals,” a throwback to the beloved Ray Ray Parade game. On the “Young Cardinals” player, fans can listen to a sampler of the new album, register to win exclusive prizes and order the new CD. To play the game, go to: www.youngcardinals.com. The object of the game is to turn the flying black crows into red cardinals before the clock runs out so you can advance to the next round and continue playing.

The “Young Cardinals” game was masterminded by UK-based viral games innovators Kempt who’ve released some of the biggest trafficking games ever recorded including kingofdefenders.com which has garnered over 57 million visits worldwide.

ALEXISONFIRE will jump on the Vans Warped Tour when it kicks off in Pomona, CA next Friday, June 26 at the Pomona Fairgrounds outside Los Angeles. To view all of the group’s upcoming dates, visit: www.myspace.com/alexisonfire.

In other news, this week, ALEXISONFIRE streamed their new OLD CROWS / YOUNG CARDINALS album--due out Tuesday, June 23--in its entirety for fans via their U.S. label Vagrant Records: http://aof.vagrant.com.

The game is cool but incredibly difficult! Have you had any luck getting past level 2?

I've heard Alexisonfire has something to do with this People in Darkness site too... I'm not exactly sure what's going on there, but it's interesting.

Hello Jay,

I haven't had a chance yet to try out the game-- thanks for the warning lol! Also, thank you for sharing the link.
