Sage Francis to release new mixtape June 16

Hip hop rabble-rouser Sage Francis is set to add to his underground acclaim with the release of the Sick of Wasting mixtape on June 16th. Part of his hilarious, creative and popular "Sick of..." series -- which began in 1999 and has also included Sick of Waiting Tables and Sick of Waging War, among others - Sick of Wasting will be available for free on various on-line portals including Anti.com and Francis' own record label Strange Famous. The first track "Strange Fame" is available for download at

One of those rare MCs whose wit, humor and humanity finds him devotees in both the hip hop world and the indie rock scene, Sage Francis' 2007 release Human the Death Dance was hailed by Urb magazine as "a cohesive, incredibly personal whole," while Filter wrote "you can call it emo or you can call it hip-hop, but you have to call it some kind of wonderful."
