Grammy Winning artist Sananda Maitreya releases his new album ‘NIGOR MORTIS’ now available as MP3 files and in CD format on the artist official website.
All songs are written, arranged, produced and performed by Sananda Maitreya, The project was recorded in Milano - Italy, where the artist lives since 2002.
Sananda plays the four basic instruments of Rock: drums, bass, guitar and keyboards; as well as a few others instruments and he can never remember a time when music wasn't playing in his head! From the beginning of his professional career he has personally written arranged and produced all his music and has also collaborated with other top artists and producers. He presents his music as POST MILLENNIUM ROCK, a music made by the heart of the artist for the spirit of the people, its nature is passion, courage and curiosity.
Sananda began his career as Terence Trent D’Arby. He became Sananda Maitreya after a series of dreams in 1995 at the age of 33.

Sananda Maitreya will be on concert on July 18th 2009 in Torino at Festival Gru Village and in Basel at Gran Casino on July 21st 2009 with his 2 men orchestra : ‘The Nudge Nudge’: Nik Taccori at drums and Enea Bardi at bass, two Italian musicians. He plans to tour in the U.S.A. in the fall of 2009.
