Third Eye Blind on tour in support of new EP

Third Eye Blind is on tour performing their hits and songs from their current EP titled RED STAR with hit song Non Dairy Creamer. Non Dairy Creamer is currently added on 17 Alt/Indie stations and has been in the top few as the most requested week after week hitting the charts out of nowhere. In December 2008 Third Eye Blind quietly released the EP for online/ITunes only.

Surpassing expectations of the EP, Third Eye Blind has succeeded in doing what few bands have been able to achieve after being crossed over to pop/ac radio- They regained their alternative base. The song "Non Dairy Creamer"- which Fredianelli wrote the music for, is doing very well at alternative radio charting respectively.

"This song is off the EP and we did not push or press and it blew up on its own. That to me is amazing," explains Tony Fredianelli, guitarist. "We must be doing something right, we have really solid music. The new album coming is some of our best work."

Fredianelli is also working on a solo project to be released later in 2009.

"Before I joined 3EB I was a solo artist. I started playing at 14 and really excelled at guitar. I want to go back to my roots and create some of that shredding guitar that started my career."

At 16 Fredianelli was teaching guitar and caught the eye of famed guitar shred aficionado Mike Varney, owner and president of Shrapnel Records. After listening to a demo tape Varney signed Fredianelli to Shrapnel Records. He formed the speed metal neo-classical band Apocrypha releasing 3 records. Marty Friedman (former Megadeth ax-slinger) produced the first two albums and the third Fredianelli produced himself. In late 1992 Varney introduced Fredianelli to the then unknown singer, Stephan Jenkins and was asked to join the band Third Eye Blind.

History was made.

Third Eye Blind has a new record tentatively titled "Ursa Major' set to be released late summer. Catch them live now!
