Descanso Gardens to hold Labor Day party

E. Manchester Boddy, founder of Descanso Gardens, had a legendary reputation for throwing big parties at his La Cañada estate during the 1930s and 40s. Descanso continues the tradition every Labor Day at Boddy's Big Backyard which brings together families, food, music and a car show worthy of its effervescent founder.
