Check out Long Beach's Cold Flamez

Recognized by their signature skateboard meets punk rock looks and danceable songs, former skateboarders Cold Flamez have been embraced by kids from the jerkin’ scene. What started out as a fun song they created during their wild partying days post high school graduation turned into a massive hit on MySpace and YouTube.

Cold Flamez can attribute a lot of their current success, including getting spins on Power 106 FM in LA and millions of MySpace plays, to jerkin’ kids who uploading videos of themselves onto YouTube. However, as much as the jerkin’ movement has helped jumpstart their career, they don’t consider themselves jerkin’ artists.

Says Cold Flamez, “We support them and respect what they do but we’re not jerkin’ artists. We do our own thing.”
