Cobra Starship will join Fall Out Boy in representing the best in American alternative music at the 2009 “Los Premios MTV Latin America”, set to air on Thursday, October 15th. The American rockers share the bill with global music sensations Nelly Furtado, Paulina Rubio, and Placebo, also slated to perform at the event, which is being held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.

Cobra Starship released their new album, Hot Mess, on August 11th. MTV has a long history of hosting large, exciting musical events, with 19 awards shows produced locally all over the world in countries such as Russia, India, Austria, Japan, and Germany among others. The ceremony will air October 15th on MTV Tr3s in the U.S. at 10 p.m. EST, and on MTV Latin America at 9:00 p.m. Mexico, 10:00 p.m. Colombia, and 11:00 p.m. Argentina.
