The Huntington Spa at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, in conjunction with AJNE Rare & Precious parfumerie, is pleased to announce a luxurious “Lavender Harvest” event in the hotel’s Courtyard from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on October 21, 2009.
The Lavender Harvest event will include a live lavender distillation demonstration, educational sessions covering the history and health benefits of lavender, 15 different types of lavender essential oils and a hands-on showcase which will allow guests to sample and bundle the plant. Special Lavender Manicures will be the featured spa treatment of the evening, and the event will also include Lavender-infused cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Luxurious lavender beauty products and ornate jewelry will also be available for purchase.
The Lavender Harvest event is complimentary for hotel guests, spa members and visitors alike. Reservations are required for Lavender Manicures, which are $45 for a 45-minute treatment. Hors d’oeuvres are complimentary and drinks are available for purchase.
Additionally, during the month of October, The Huntington Spa will be offering Lavender Manicures and Lavender Pedicures for $45 and $70, respectively.
