Concert Event Hosted By Pat Prescott To Benefit Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, Serving Los Angeles For Over 100 Years
WHO: Grammy-nominated artist Sheila E. takes center stage at the inaugural Vista Del Mar Jazzfest, along with The E Family including father and brothers Pete, Juan and Peter Michael Escovedo and multi-Grammy nominated recording artist saxophonist Dave Koz.
Hosted by Pat Prescott, other planned performances include composer, producer, and keyboardist Patrice Rushen; world-class drummer and percussionist Leon (Ndugu) Chancler; vocalist TC Carson, and actress and singer Sylvia Brooks.
Special guests also include actress Nia Vardalos and Los Angeles newscaster Christine Devine.
WHAT: An array of musical talents come together and perform at the first ever Vista Del Mar Jazzfest to benefit Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services. The non-profit organization provides comprehensive, family-centered social, educational, behavioral and mental health services that encourage children, adolescents and their families to lead self-reliant, stable and productive lives. Located in West Los Angeles, Vista Del Mar has served the community for over 100 years.
