Black Gold at the Roxy Feb. 17

BLACK GOLD kick off their current U.S. tour with Sherwood on Wednesday, February 17 in Los Angeles at The Roxy, on the heels of their Australian tour playing alongside Echo & The Bunnymen. The band has been on the road non-stop since the release of their debut album RUSH in early 2009, which was hailed by SPIN as "breathlessly experimental" with “sweeping orchestral rock” and received additional praise from People, URB.COM, MetroMix, Big Shot and more. They’ve made high-profile appearances at All Points West and SXSW and sharing the stage with the likes of The Pixies, Neko Case, the Scissor Sisters, The Hold Steady, and Panic at the Disco.

The video for latest single “Shine” debuted today on AOL Music (see below). The glistening track about faith and love is now at radio and after just two weeks at Hot AC radio, "Shine" is already Top 70 national airplay and has been embraced by key stations. AAA radio is beginning to embrace Shine too, including play at New York’s WRXP. “Shine” will also appear on the soundtrack to the star-studded romantic comedy Valentine’s Day alongside Taylor Swift, Jewel, Maroon 5, Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, Willie Nelson and more.
