Arboretum offers family yoga

Family Yoga
at The Arboretum
(monthly class beginning in April 2010)

Come join us for an afternoon of movement, music and merriment that will help you and your children rejuvenate, relax and bond as a family. Lee Rothman (Yoga with Lee ©) will guide the class through a series of postures, breathing exercises and playful responsive chanting designed to stimulate and strengthen body, mind and spirit.

When: Sundays: April 25, May 23, June 13, 2010
Where: Meet at the Main Entrance
When: 2:00 – 3:15 pm
Ages: Children between the ages of 4-8
Fees: $15 per family for members;
$17 per family for non-members

Please bring a mat, towel and a small blanket to cover yourself during the relaxation period. The class will be taught outside on the grass, weather permitting. Remember to bring water!

Lee Rothman, M.Ed., M.A. is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, counselor and educator who has been working with children and families for over 25 years. She has taught family yoga workshops at The Awareness Center, Pasadena. She has taught yoga to children at Weizman Jewish Day School, Pasadena and 5 Acres Therapeutic Community, Altadena, CA
