Next on the dish is the release of "Bright Works and Baton" on Vinyl from Cast Spells (Dovecote, RedEye). Originally released in 2009 on CD, This EP is incredibly limited first-time-on-vinyl-ever release and is delightfully sonically pleasing. Cast Spells is Dave Davison from Maps and Atlases. We think it's important to note that this isn't some weird vanity solo project of Dave's. He ACTUALLY tours on this record when he's not out with Maps. It's pretty safe to say if you're a Maps and Atlases fan you'll love this record.
Speaking of Maps, you can catch them at any of the tour dates below. Don't worry, one of Dave Davison's superpowers is he never rests. You'll be able to catch a Cast Spells show soon enough. Don't worry, we'll let you know.
