Boyce Avenue to tour in support of album

Boyce Avenue, the Florida-based trio consisting of brothers Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals), and Daniel Manzano (bass, percussion, vocals) release their self-produced major label debut entitled All We Have Left on June 15, 2010, through Universal Republic Records. Singer/guitarist Alejandro Manzano comments, “It’s been a long-time goal of ours to release a full-length debut album worldwide, with all of our music on it the way we’ve always wanted the world to hear it. We feel this album is the kind of release our fans deserve. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Universal Republic family at this time.”

The band shot the video for the album’s first single, “Every Breath,” in Los Angeles with acclaimed director Zach Merck (Blue October, Safetysuit). The video, which was a collaborative effort with Merck that grew from a concept written by the band, recently debuted worldwide on Vevo and YouTube. The song “Every Breath” and the music video for it are both currently available on iTunes.

Boyce Avenue recently returned from their second tour of the Philippines and their second headline tour of Europe, playing to sold-out and near capacity crowds in Germany, France, Austria, and the UK.

Today the band announces the first leg of its upcoming North American headline tour, kicking off in Vancouver, BC, on June 17, 2010.

The upcoming tour will be the band’s second headline tour of North America. Bassist Daniel Manzano notes, “Last summer, we did our first US headline tour, and it was a really eye-opening experience. We always knew our fans online were die-hard, but it was still really touching and inspiring to see them come out and support us in such strong numbers. For us, that connection with fans at a live show is irreplaceable.”

Guitarist Fabian Manzano adds, “We’ve had amazing fortune in being able to tour internationally this early in our career, but we also really can’t wait to go back out and play for all of our fans here in the States. Our first ever full-blown tour was in the United States, and we think things will be even more fun and exciting this summer when we head back out to see everyone and play some songs from the new album.”

Boyce Avenue shot to immediate underground fame after they posted acoustic versions of their live performances of original songs and covers on YouTube a little over two years ago. Their homemade videos of songs such as Justin Timberlake’s “Love Stoned”, Rihanna’s “Umbrella”, and Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida”, among many others, quickly became viral sensations. And today, Boyce Avenue’s original and cover videos have collectively garnered over 170,000,000 views, making their channel one of the most watched destinations on the site worldwide.
