Joans Brothers announce world tour with Demi Lovato

Multi-platinum-selling recording artists the Jonas Brothers announced today a three continent summer concert tour with special guest and Hollywood Records label mate, Demi Lovato. The tour will combine spectacular production with unrivaled performances of both artists’ hits as well as music from the Disney Channel Original Movie, “Camp Rock,” and its highly anticipated sequel. Adding to the excitement this summer, the tour will also feature appearances by their friends and co-stars from both “Camp Rock” movies. Produced by Live Nation and sponsored by OfficeMax, the tour kicks off Tuesday, July 27 in Dallas, Texas, and will continue throughout North America, Latin America and Europe throughout the Summer and Fall.

Tickets will be on sale beginning Saturday, May 15. Check www.livenation.com and www.teamjonas.com for further information and updates on the tour including additional details on ticket sales. Beginning Tuesday, May 11, fans will be able to access a “Camp Rock” themed premium iTouch and iPhone app, which will also be optimized for the iPad, to buy concert tickets starting on May 15.

“We love recording and creating new music in the studio and enjoy doing television but performing live music together for our fans is the ultimate - nothing can compare to the energy from the crowd,” says Nick Jonas. “We can’t wait to get back on the road this summer with Demi and our friends from ‘Camp Rock.’ Together we’re going to bring our fans a show that they’ll never forget.”

The Jonas Brothers have had three #1 albums since their breakout year in 2007 and have evolved into a touring powerhouse. Their “Jonas Brothers World Tour” was among the top grossing concert tours in 2009, with over 1.5 million attendees and sold out shows on three continents. It also won Billboard's Eventful Fans' Choice Award for the best concert tour of the year.

Demi Lovato, star of the hit series “Sonny With A Chance” and a popular solo recording artist, proved her diversity as a musician and performer during her headlining concert tour last year. Her first solo album, “Don't Forget,” debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and her second album, “Here We Go Again” entered the chart at #1, delivering a platinum-certified hit of the same name. She is a multiple Teen Choice Award winner.

Disney Channel will rock summer 2010 with the biggest launch ever of a Disney Channel Original Movie, “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam” starring Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato. Premiering Friday, September 3, the 'break into song' movie celebrates music, dance and the freedom of summer. Its soundtrack will be available Tuesday, July 27.
