Dawnya Clarine donating song proceeds to eco charities

Singer/songwriter Dawnya Clarine awoke one day with a new idea to help our planet – write a song about Mother Earth and donate 100 percent of the download proceeds to conservation groups who protect and preserve our planet.

Clarine combined her passion for music with her love for the environment. Less than a month later, she’d written and produced Our Mother. The song paints a picture of Mother Earth with nurturing, human qualities, and then reminds us that our Mother needs our caring attention. The song is inspiring in its beauty, simplicity and positive message.

With the song completed, and music sites built, her idea kept growing. Clarine declared another aggressive goal: she’d raise $500,000 by the end of April.

“There are so many wonderful, deserving conservation groups doing great work for the earth,” said Clarine. “Their work benefits every person on the planet. I’m betting there are at least a half million people who are ready to help these Eco-Awesome groups.”

Clarine continues to invite Eco non-profit organizations to use Our Mother to raise funds and awareness. Interested non-profits can e-mail Dee Martin [ dee@soulappeal.com ].

The list of non-profits continues to grow and currently includes: Earth Day Network, Wildlife Forever, and Lake Pend Oreille Waterkeeper from Clarine’s hometown of Sandpoint, Idaho.

With all of April before her, Ms. Clarine will not rest until she meets her goal: to raise a half million dollars for Eco-Awesome non-profits, while inspiring people to care for the planet through her new song, Our Mother.

After more than 25 years as a video producer, writer, part-time professional singer, and full-time single mother, Dawnya Clarine, 47, is now a full-time singer and songwriter following her passion of creating songs that inspire positive action and change.
