Power-pop punk rock group Orange have provided "Revolution," an iTunes bonus track from their latest album Phoenix, to be used as the theme song for Cartoon Network's hot new animated show "Generator Rex," which will premiere on Friday, April 23 at 8:30 PM ET/PT.

The Los Angeles based band recently shot a video for the song, which debuts today exclusively on iTunes.

In 2004, when the band was the average age of 16, they caught the ear of Operation Ivy/Rancid mastermind Tim Armstrong, who signed them to his Hellcat label soon after. A year later they released their debut album Welcome To The World of ..., followed by Escape From L.A. in 2007 and "their most impressive album yet" (AMP), Phoenix, in 2009. The group's collaboration announcement with "Generation Rex" comes on the heels of their recent tour with Zebrahead and will be followed by a European tour this summer.
