Iranian indie rockers Hypernova are performing in Fullerton on Saturday July 17th at the Slidebar. This will be their first headline tour in support of their debut full-length Through the Chaos, which was released on April 6th via Narnack Records. (think Joy Division updated Persian-style... Yes, I won't lie, there are shades of Interpol, but it's a lot more primal and warmer than the cold Interpol) It was produced by Herwig Maurer and mixed by Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails, No Doubt, Marilyn Manson).
