Piece by Piece art show and gala to aid homeless and residents of Skid Row

Piece by Piece is an innovative, non-profit, micro-enterprise arts organization whose mission is to empower residents of Skid Row and other underserved communities of Los Angeles by teaching marketable skills to create high quality works of mosaic art. All workshops and materials, with an emphasis on recyclable materials, are provided free of charge and taught by professional artists. Proceeds from the sales are given back to each participant to help subsidize their income. By nurturing creativity and encouraging entrepreneurship, Piece by Piece strives to give participants the tools and self-confidence to assume more responsibility and hope for their future.

WHAT: Art Exhibit, Sale and Fund Raiser Featuring Piece by Piece Artwork and Artists.A special weekend to view and purchase amazing art created by Piece by Piece artists who are either homeless, recently homeless, or residents of Skid Row and South Los Angeles. Many artists will be in attendance throughout the weekend. The “Weekend of Art” will include mosaic workshops open to the public.

Art Exhibit and Sale-FREE admittance

Gallery Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m

Mosaic workshops open to the public
Workshop: $100.00 per adult, $60.00 for youth (includes lunch, all materials)
