Rooney to tour in support of new album

EUREKA, the eagerly anticipated new album from Los Angeles pop-rock quartet Rooney, is now available. Praised by Alternative Press for its “piano-kissed rock gems” and what M Magazine calls "pop perfection,” EUREKA is the follow up to the band’s two critically acclaimed albums – ROONEY & CALLING THE WORLD.

Beginning June 16th in San Diego, CA, Rooney will hit the road with this brand new collection of songs American Songwriter spotlights as “embodying the best parts of the band.” Following their headlining tour, Rooney will join Hanson for a month of dates. Tour dates below.

No stranger to infiltrating video outlets such as MTV, VH1, Fuse and MTV2, Rooney will be the featured artist on tonight’s (6/8) episode of the very popular television series THE HILLS. In addition, the band’s first single and video, "I CAN’T GET ENOUGH", recently debuted on VH1’s Top 20 Countdown and due to the overwhelming demand by fans, has been added to the stations medium rotation.

Rooney have pretty much taken over Baeble Music's homepage, with a number of different features highlighted by an acoustic performance taped at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Rooney is also profiled on the CosmoGirl.com homepage. The entire album is streaming over at AOL, while MSN has EUREKA featured in their Listening Booth.

To celebrate their release, Rooney will perform at Best Buy in Thousand Oaks, CA today, June 8th. The first 100 fans to buy a CD will receive an exclusive t-shirt. Address: Best Buy – 390 North Moorpark Road – Village Square – Thousand Oaks, CA 91360

“Never has the summer sound been more welcome and well crafted than on Rooney's third album, EUREKA ... Rooney has recorded the ultimate driving record and we're ready to hit the road” - Instinct Magazine
