Pearl opening for Meat Loaf Aug. 12 at the Gibson

PEARL...
In support of their debut album Little Immaculate White Fox, they're performing with Meat Loaf in Universal City on Thursday August 12th at the Gibson Amphitheater.

LIWF was produced by Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Jane's Addiction) and features guest appearances by Jerry Cantrel (Alice In Chains) & Ted Nugent.

Lead singer Pearl Aday is Meat Loaf's daughter. Her birth father was the drummer in Full Tilt Boogie (Janis Joplin's band), but she considers Meat Loaf her dad since he raised her. Pearl was Joplin's nickname... She sang backup vocals for Meat Loaf for many years, danced & sang backup for Motley Crue, and has also sang on Ace Frehley's (KISS) solo albums.

Her current touring band is comprised of husband Scott Ian (Anthrax, The Damned Things) on guitar, Andy Hurley (Fall Out Boy, The Damned Things) on drums, Jim Wilson (Rollins Band, Mother Superior) on guitar, and Marcus Blake (Rollins Band, Mother Superior) on bass.
