LOCATION: St. Andrews Presbyterian Church at 301 Ave. D. on corner of Pacific Coast Hwy. and Ave. D. in Redondo Beach.

DIRECTIONS: South on the San Diego Fwy.(405) : Exit at Hawthorne Blvd., turn right onto Hawthorne Blvd, proceed to Artesia Blvd. and turn right, drive to Pacific Coast Hwy., turn left onto Pacific Coast Hwy. and drive to Ave. D turn left. The parking lot is between Ave. D and Ave. E. It is a few buildings past the corner on the right side of Ave. D. Community Center on the left and/or north side of the street. Free parking.

North on the San Diego Fwy.(405): Exit Artesia, go west (go under the freeway), turn left onto Pacific Coast Hwy and drive to Ave. D, turn left. The parking lot is between Ave. D and Ave. E. It is a few buildings past the corner on the right side of Ave. D. Free parking.

MORNING PROGRAM
10:30 - NOON: SHERRILL KAHN
MIXED MEDIA TECHNIQUES FOR ALLSherrill Kahn has been creating award-winning drawings, paintings and fiber art-work for almost forty years. Her work can be found in many private collections throughout the world. She teaches nationally and internationally. She loves to weave, quilt, airbrush, bead, sew, knit, crochet, draw, paint and "rubber stamps". She lives by four simple words "Have Fun", and "What If?" AFTERNOON PROGRAM
1:00 P.M.: WAC MEMBER'S SHOW AND TELL

THIS MONTH'S WORKSHOP:
AUG. 22 & 23 (TWO DAYS)
SHERRILL KAHN
MIXED MEDIA SUPPLY LIST FOR FABRIC AND PAPER
This workshop will cover everything from resists to printmaking. We will be exploring simple printmaking, resist techniques, glazing techniques, altering computer images, using oil pastels and colored pencils creatively, learning how to layer a variety of media, making textured surfaces, creating interesting textured papers and fabrics for collage. The class will push the limits and you will try a variety of techniques and media.

LOCATION: Bobbie Moon's House in Altadena.

COST: $120 for members, $140 for non-members
