Shimmy Showcase Sunday
April 17 -- Speakeasy! A night of roaring 1920's inspired entertainment! Prohibition, Jazz, Charleston, Dixieland, flappers, gangsters, the red light district...... We left the Victorian Era with its constraints, rules and prudishness to revel in the full throaty fun of the barely acceptable just-this-side of the wrong side of the tracks. On this evening join coordinator Saviya and the sizzling Draca, Bella, Siraj, Deborah, Anastasia and Madame Sunset as they transform I-Candy into a Speakeasy. Set the mood by donning your flapper dresses and jazz suits and joining us as we leave behind the conventions of polite society to indulge in uninhibited revelry! Dancers—We have openings for “Under the Big Top” on May 29! Please read below for details and contact us at Shimmyshowcase@gmail.com if you’d like to perform.
