This week KCET’s SoCal Connected takes you behind the curtain and on stage as Los Angeles Ballet brings its landmark fifth season to a close. It’s an all-new segment airing Thursday, May 26 at 9:00 p.m.
In “Backstage at the Ballet,” Host Val Zavala goes backstage at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center as Los Angeles Ballet prepares for the opening night of “Giselle.” Los Angeles’ own professional ballet company takes on the beloved full-length performance under the creative leadership of artistic directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary.
