Chateau Marmont at the El Rey in LA Oct. 1

Paris-based electro-pop quartet
Chateau Marmont
Saturday, October 1st
at El Rey Theatre.
Doors at 8:30pm. Show starts at 9pm.

The band, who shares members with Jamaica, grew up together in France, exploring both adolescence and musical influences that seeded their futuristic synth-pop. After their remixes of La Roux, Heartsrevolution, Ladyhawke, and Röyksopp started circulating worldwide, they made their North American touring debut, stopping at this year's Canadian Music Week and SXSW for a series of well-received performances.

Now they're returning for a fall tour + CMJ with folk-pop band Revolver, performing songs from their debut, 2008-2009-2010, which was praised by Wired, MTV, and Black Book among others, as well as new tracks from their forthcoming album, due out in January 2012.
