'Cinderella' in La Mirada April 1

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts continues this season’s Programs for Young Audiences series when American Family Theater brings the timeless story of Cinderella to life on stage in a sparkling production that features a terrific cast, new unforgettable songs and special effects, plus lots of audience participation. This enchanting musical is recommended for audiences ages 4 and up. Performances are Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

From the hilarious stepsisters to a magical fairy godmother, children will delight in the adventures of Cinderella as she makes her way to the royal ball and finds true love with her prince. Join Cinderella and her new friend Mortimer Mouse as they sing and dance their way from the kitchen of her stepmother’s house to the brilliance of Prince Charming’s Ball. These characters come to life with gusto in this family musical favorite!

The cast of Cinderella is Shannon Agnew, Alyse Hrynczyszyn, Bruce Jones, Amy Rishko, Heather Wagner and Michael Wessells.

The production team includes David Leidholdt as Director/Choreographer, Tom Berger as Musical Director, and Laurie Wagman as Producer. Costumes by Robin I. Shane and Sound and Technial Direction by Gala Lok.

All seats are $8 for children and $12 for adults. Mini-Subscriptions for the last two shows are available for $12 for children and $18 for adults.
