Chilly Gonzales to tour in support of upcoming album

The one & only Chilly Gonzales, everyone’s favorite musical genius, is about embark on a short US tour which sees him playing in several of his now-infamous Piano Talk Shows on the West Coast. He’s also promised a new album in 2012, Solo Piano II, so folks who catch one of these shows will get a preview of the new material.

Chilly Gonzales has had quite a decade as an accomplished pianist, producer, MC, entertainer and more. He holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest live piano performance (27 hours, 3 minutes and 44 seconds), and has produced influential albums from Feist to Peaches, on top of countless collaborations, with folks as diverse as Andrew W.K., A-Trak, Jamie Lidell, La Roux and Drake.

In 2010, Gonzales co-wrote, starred in, and scored the hilarious feature film Ivory Tower, which co-starred Peaches, Feist and Tiga and with a soundtrack by Boys Noize. The film will be getting an official VOD release through iTunes in April to coincide with his North America tour. Chilly will also be releasing his first live DVD, “The Unspeakable Chilly Gonzales live with Orchestra” in April. More details on that coming soon!
