As a one-time owner of a 1957 Jaguar saloon, I wonder how many of these motorcars will arrive at the show under their own power. The one member of the family who really liked the Jag was my orange and white cat, who liked to pose on the "bonnet" next to the Jaguar ornament.
The electrical parts on this car were Lucas products, and at this gathering, someone will probably ask, "Why do the British drink warm beer?" Answer: "Because Lucas also makes refrigerator motors." Or there may be remarks about "Lucas, Prince of Darkness."
Hmmm... somebody named Bobby is having too much fun! You should send me a photo of your cat on the Jag (if you have one) to post on the blog.
