TuneIn to air SXSW performances

TuneIn has partnered with top radio stations in the U.S. to deliver every broadcast from SXSW to the world, including performances from artists such as Keane, Ingrid Michaelson, Nada Surf and James Mercer of The Shins. TuneIn is the only way, other than by attending the festival itself, that listeners can access all SXSW broadcast content from one place.

WHO: TuneIn, a free service that delivers music, sports, talk and news from all over the world, will carry broadcasts from stations including KEXP Seattle, WFUV New York, KGSR Austin and KCRW Los Angeles. With more than 50,000 AM, FM, HD and Internet radio stations and more than a million on-demand programs streaming from every continent, TuneIn is a new way to listen to the world through local and global radio from wherever you are.

WHAT: All concerts broadcast from SXSW—either live or recorded for later airing—will be available to stream worldwide for free through TuneIn. TuneIn is giving listeners who can’t make it to SXSW in Austin the opportunity to experience the event as if they were standing in the front row of every performance.
