"Silence In Company" mixed media by Jo Mann Jo's work reflects the need and balance in one's lives, the elimination of the unnecessary, and the goal of simplicity with substance. Jo believes art should be didactic and conveying and that her pieces help people to think freely and project their connections into the artwork. Jo incorporates the urban reality of found materials to express the underlying but ever-present clutter and cacophony of contemporary life. The reduction of form and harmonious color palette speaks to the balance we seek.
