“A tremendously soulful singer and songwriter who has been described in recent reviews as a force ‘of nature’ who is ‘in the business of show stopping,”

by:Paul Zollo songtalk/bluelineRaspin

Critics and fans have fallen in love with Raspin and his music and for good reason, “His songs place a premium on intelligent lyricism, demonstrating a clear and almost writerly (as in print) sensitivity - an all original catalog that bears an eye opening, ear opening blend of influences.”

His songs reflect a diverse, cross-cultural sensibility, full of life bold enough to live in and beyond contemporary music.

Stylized and original, Raspin vocal and performance trademark includes “spontaneous energy” in such varied genres as acoustic folk pop, jazz, and R&B with the occasional touch of gospel.

Lustful, political and daring, the WE DO WHAT WE DO collection emerges from a beautiful soul, with both a hypnotic and haunting voice, humble melodies, fantastic key changes, he creates a sublime balance that so many musicians strive for, but few achieve.

Critics have noted that he has a style all his own in a singing range that’s wide and varied. Raspin creates an intimate space where harmony and word meaning mingle. The music’s appealing, offbeat twist leaves listeners with a long-lasting impact.
