Shpongle to tour

Shpongle, the legendary international production project created by producers Simon Posford and Raja Ram, has just released dates for their remarkably ambitious and mysterious The Masquerade Tour. The Masquarade Tour uses the latest innovative stage production techniques featuring the sole DJ work of Posford to transport concertgoers into another world: the parallel and ephemeral universe of Shpongleland. The tour will feature openers Phutureprimitive (http://www.phutureprimitive.com/bio/ ) and currently extends from early August to late October. (Note: Posford will be the only touring member for The Masquerade).



The Masquerade Tour will feature some of the most innovative and surreal stage and light show design technology ever deployed on a tour. Lucid Technology (http://www.lucidtechnologydesign.com/ ) gladly provided the technical knowhow and shared vision of Posford and Ram to create the most impressive stage set up yet for the Shpongle experience. Shpongle continues their tour in the US after an astoundingly successful international run, both as personal producers and as the Shpongle project. Between their international performances, Sphongle’s The Masquerade has made legendary appearances the recent festivals including Lightning in a Bottle, Hangout Festival, Summer Camp, and All Good Festival. Simon Posford has played over 16 sell out gigs around the world, each with a capacity of over 1500 people, in Australia, Israel, New York, Pittsburg, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Moscow, Geneva, Montreal, and Tokyo.
