Adam Ant to release first album in 17 years

With its pop/rock structure, but a bluesy, swampy feeling and hints of a southern drawl, you’ve never heard pop icon and Grammy-nommer Adam Ant sound like this

“Cool Zombie” is the debut track from his first album in 17 years called “Adam Ant is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner’s Daughter” (Album releases January 22, 2013 with North American tour dates announcing soon).

Even more interesting is the “Cool Zombie” backstory.  Adam (www.Adam-Ant.com) lived in Los Angeles for a while to pursue film roles, but most people don’t know that he later lived in the tiny town of Dayton, Tennessee – almost by accident.  Adam and his girlfriend were on their way to Las Vegas to get married.  But they made a detour, bought a house, started a family and opened a new chapter in life.
