Hip Hop School of Arts open house Nov. 17 in Pomona

The Hip Hop School of Arts (HHSA) opens
its doors to the community of Pomona for the first time by hosting an
open house Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012. HHSA will be offering free lessons
from world class dancers versed in various funk styles from across
California. Special guests and celebrity dancers have volunteered
their talent for this open house. Classes, facility tours, and
performances will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 499 N. Garey Ave,
Pomona, CA 91767.

HHSA is a nonprofit organization in partnership with the Boys and
Girls Club of Pomona Valley that offers a unique performing arts,
technical/trade program designed to transform each student's creative
energy into marketable skills through education, guidance and
self-expression. HHSA is an after school program for youth ages 8 to
18 and offers programs for 19 years and up. HHSA aims to offer
affordable classes with annual memberships starting at only $75.
Scholarships are available.

HHSA will offer various classes such as breaking, popping, emceeing,
deejaying, locking, and developmental courses on creating a marketable
artist.
