Jucifer announces tour

JUCIFER Complete Work on New Video; Announce West Coast Tour Dates

JUCIFER has recently completed filming on the second video from its brand new album If Thine Enemy Hunger for the track “Hennin Hardine”.

The “Hennin Hardine” video was shot in the duo’s hometown of Athens, GA with producer/director Marc Pilvinsky of Bare Ruined Films. Pilvinsky recently lensed the first video from If Thine Enemy Hunger, “Pontius of Palia,” as well as JUCIFER’s "When She Goes Out" video from the "I Name You Destroyer" full-length.

Additionally, JUCIFER have announced another set of tour dates, this time taking their monolithic rock-show through the South and along the West coast for their first shows there since the record’s September release. A listing of confirmed JUCIFER tour dates can be found below with more to be announced soon.

Updated JUCIFER news and tour information will be made available at the Relapse Records website: www.RELAPSE.com and the JUCIFER website (www.Jucifer.com) and Myspace (www.MySpace.com/Jucifer).

“this dense, fuzzy, and often addictively sludgy third album sounds frequently like what would happen if The Breeders’ Kim Deal and L7’s Donita Sparks decided to kick King Buzzo to the back and front stalwart sludge rock kings Melvins for a day.” – KERRANG!

“If Thine Enemy Hunger sees Valentine’s Flying V churning out a wall of reverb-soaked thunder, her voice seesawing between celestial glide and hellish peal as Livengood’s drums threaten to punch a hole in the sky.” – REVOLVER

“part killer cult chic, part Helmet v. Black Sabbath” – DECIBEL

“majestic” – CREATIVE LOAFING

“With no extraneous bells and whistles to clutter things up, there’s a charming simplicity to Jucifer’s winning combination of gorgeous melodies and monster riffs.” – ROCK SOUND

“If Thine Enemy Hunger is huge sounding, [and] dirty as sin” – BIG CHEESE
