Type O Negative's new effort & Anaheim shows

TYPE O NEGATIVE
SET TO RELEASE ‘DEAD AGAIN’
VIA SPV RECORDS MARCH 13;

BAND TO PLAY JANUARY HEADLINING SHOWS AT
HOUSE OF BLUES SHOWS IN ANAHEIM, CA

Goth rock icons TYPE O NEGATIVE are back with DEAD AGAIN, their first full-length release via SPV Records. Due out March 13, the Brooklyn-based group’s seventh full-length album is a powerful, dark sonic work filled with resounding epics such as the lead single “Dead Again,” “The Profits Of Doom,” “Halloween In Heaven,” “An Ode To Locksmiths” and “September Sun.” In advance of the CD’s release, TYPE O NEGATIVE--PETER STEELE (vocals, bass), JOSH SILVER (keyboards), KENNY HICKEY (guitar), JOHNNY KELLY (drums)--will play two headlining shows at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA January 21 and 22. These special dates will be followed by a headlining Spring U.S. tour, with details to be announced in the coming weeks.

After forming in 1989, TYPE O NEGATIVE received widespread national attention for 1993’s platinum-certified Bloody Kisses, which received critical and listener acclaim and won the band a cult following, thanks in part to the hit single and video for "Black No. 1" and the band's constant touring. Bloody Kisses holds the distinction of being the first Roadrunner Records CD to be certified platinum. The group’s most recent offering is the 2006 Symphony for the Devil DVD (SPV/Steamhammer).
