Ankla slated for Ozzfest

Bieler Bros. Records artist Ankla is elated to confirm that they will be taking part of Ozzfest 2007. Set to take on second stage duties, Ankla are primed for a breakthrough summer as they annihilate the nation with their Latin influenced, heavy metal onslaught. Although Ozzfest 2007 will be Ankla's first jaunt on the mother of all metal festivals, it won't be the first time around for band guitarist Ramon Ortiz. Ortiz was part of Ozzfest in 1999 when he was a founding member of legendary Latin-metal band Puya.

Joining Ankla on this year's second stage will be close friends and second stage headliners Hatebreed, Southern rockers-The Showdown, Nile, Mondo Generator, Circus Diablo and several soon to be announced acts. Meanwhile, festival mastermind Ozzy Ozbourne will headline the mainstage with metal powerhouse Lamb of God also announced to be a part of the mainstage.

Ankla are currently in the midst of their first US headline tour until May 1st when they will become part of the "True Rock Tour" with Soil and Seemless.
