Toby Keith stars in film premiering in November on CMT

Superstar Toby Keith stars in his second feature film, BEER FOR MY HORSES, premiering Sunday, Nov. 2 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. The film, produced jointly by CMT Films and Keith’s Show Dog Productions, is a follow up to Keith's successful 2006 CMT Film BROKEN BRIDGES. BEER FOR MY HORSES shares the same title of Keith's No. 1 single and video with Willie Nelson. BEER FOR MY HORSES premieres on CMT after a successful theatrical release this summer and will be released on DVD on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

BEER FOR MY HORSES also stars comedian Rodney Carrington, Claire Forlani, (“CSI: NY”), guitar legend Ted Nugent, country icon Willie Nelson, Barry Corbin, (“No Country For Old Men,” “Dukes of Hazzard”), and Tom Skerritt (“Brothers and Sisters”). Written by Keith and Carrington, BEER FOR MY HORSES follows the exploits of small town deputies and best friends who defy the local sheriff to embark on an outrageous road trip to save Keith's girlfriend from drug lord kidnappers.

BEER FOR MY HORSES was produced by Toby Keith and Donald Zuckerman and TK Kimbrell serves as executive producer for Show Dog Productions and Jeff Yapp and Leslie Belzberg serve as Executive Producers for CMT Films. Michael Salomon directs.

Toby Keith is one of today’s most successful musical entertainers, in just the last seven years he has sold 25 million albums and his songs have spent more than a year at No. 1 on the singles charts. His current single, "She Never Cried In Front Of Me," marked a career milestone as Toby's 35th Top 10. The song is from his upcoming album, That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy, which is set for release on October 28th. He's one of the most awarded artists in any genre as a singer, songwriter and entertainer, and Beer for My Horses follows his successful 2006 film acting debut in Broken Bridges.
