ShockHound to celebrate launch with free shows by No Age and Titus Andronicus

ShockHound (www.shockhound.com ) announced today that the site will celebrate its launch with a series of exclusive free shows in major U.S. cities starting early November. Los Angeles lo-fi duo No Age and irreverent indie rock band Titus Andronicus will tour New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Launched October 28, 2008, ShockHound is a one-stop, genre-spanning music site loaded with millions of MP3s, a vast selection of band merchandise, the latest music videos, unique programming, and exclusive and compelling editorial content.

"We're looking forward to hitting the road with Titus Andronicus and meeting the fans from ShockHound," said Randy Randall of No Age. "We love the site and are thrilled to be part of these free shows-- the fact that ShockHound is doing this for the fans shows a real commitment to music lovers."

Hailing from Los Angeles, No Age is a noise-punk outfit with a devoted following, while Titus Andronicus is an up-and-coming rock band from New Jersey known for its fierce, thrashy sound.

The two will kick off the tour in New York City on November 9, stopping in Chicago and Los Angeles before closing the tour in San Francisco on December 4th. Tickets will be available for free on ShockHound.com on a first-come, first-serve basis. Stay tuned for event details.
