Shimmy Showcase Sunday

It’s Halloween at Coffee Haven this Sunday with shimmering (should that be shimmying?) ghosts, ghouls, and vampires AKA Zahir, Eve, Yasan and Meryem Vani and poetry by Christopher “Vlad” Villa—all led by chief ghoul Xandra. Last week our audience was scared away, but we hope you’ll come down for some fun this time! We promise it won’t be as scary as the financial crisis and best of all, there is NO cover charge!

ALSO, SEE BELOW FOR THIS SUNDAY AND OTHER UPCOMING EXCITING PERFORMANCES! We are still wide open for November 9 (all the rest of our 2008 Sundays are full!) so if you’d like to be a Shimmyshowcase star before this year flickers out PLEASE contact us at shimmyshowcase@yahoogroups.com.

Everyone is invited to come out, have a cup of Java, munch on something yummy and enjoy some really great dancing FOR FREE!

Below is our upcoming schedule for the next several Sundays at the Coffee Haven in Long Beach. If you are a dancer interested in performing at an upcoming showcase, please check out the schedule below for open dates and then email us at
shimmyshowcase@yahoogroups.com
with the dates on which you'd like to perform.

The SHIMMY SHOWCASE begins at 7 p.m. at the COFFEE HAVEN in Long Beach (1708 E. Broadway -- 562-437-3785).
