Smile Empty Soul in studio

Southern California rockers Smile Empty Soul have hit the studio to begin working on their long awaited 3rd release titled "Consciousness" with producer Eddie Wohl (Jesse Malin/Anthrax/Ill Nino) CD is slated for a spring 2009 release on CD and digitally.

This release is a strategic partnership between Smile Empty Soul’s own MRafia Label and the newly formed F.O.F. Label Group/EMI Music. Smile Empty Soul, is Sean Danielsen on vox and guitar, Ryan Martin on bass and Jake Kilmer on drums. Since releasing their debut album in 2003 the band has sold over 650,000 albums in the U.S. The band scored a hit with their debut single “Bottom of a Bottle”, a top 10 song on the Modern Rock, Active Rock and Mainstream Rock charts.

Looking towards the future the band is revitalized, road-ready and eager to bring their original brand of rock to the masses.
