Jason Mraz and Hurley create eco-friendly t-shirt line

Grammy® nominated singer/songwriter Jason Mraz and beach culture brand Hurley have created a limited-edition collection of environmentally friendly men’s and women’s t-shirts.

The t-shirts, available at select Buckle stores and at www.buckle.com starting August 10, will feature nature-inspired, abstract graphics which were designed by Mraz and printed with soy ink on 100% organic cotton. The hangtag can be planted to yield wildflowers. Prices range from $30 for men’s to $32 for women’s styles, with a portion of proceeds going to the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches.

“I am proud to be supporting the Surfrider Foundation, and stoked to be working with the team at Hurley,” said Mraz. “Collaborating to create a limited edition organic T-shirt has been a fun way of contributing to the care of our coasts.”

“We are pleased Jason Mraz has joined the expanding roster of artists and musicians who have collaborated with us,” said Laura Wasser, Vice President of Marketing at Hurley. “We know these t-shirts won’t be around for long!”
