The Paul Green School of Rock at Universal Studios Aug. 14

WHAT:
A musical celebration on the Blues Brothers stage at Universal Studios Hollywood, featuring kids from The Paul Green School of Rock rocking out to Woodstock favorites. The event (along with a total of 40 SOR events coast-to-coast) has been endorsed by Woodstock creator, Michael Lang and is part of the official 40th Anniversary Woodstock Celebration.

WHO:
Young rockers (ages 7-17) from the Hollywood branch of The Paul Green School of Rock Music (http://www.schoolofrock.com ) and the West Coast All-Stars (a group of the best and brightest kid musicians from various branches of the School of Rock along the West Coast). The School of Rock is the original and premier performance-based rock music school in the country for kids.

Founded in 1998, the school was the subject of the documentary Rock School and served as the apparent inspiration for the Jack Black hit comedy, School of Rock. The students from School of Rock have performed in front of two million people in shows coast to coast, including both community-based concerts and their national touring group, the School of Rock All-Stars.
